Kitta MacPherson
Biography
Kitta MacPherson is a nationally award-winning science writer and author of long-form narrative nonfiction exploring how curiosity, love, and endurance shape human lives. Her work weaves research with personal story, bringing scientific and ethical questions into intimate human focus.
She has served as lead science writer at Princeton University and currently writes about research breakthroughs at Rutgers University. Earlier, she was a prize-winning journalist at The Star-Ledger of Newark. She holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Fairleigh Dickinson University. In addition to hundreds of nationally syndicated science stories, her essays, fiction, and narrative nonfiction have appeared in Princeton Alumni Weekly and The Copperfield.
