Donate Books

If you would like to refresh your library and support Bookstock at the same time, we are happy to take your gently used paperbacks and hardcovers to supply our famous Book Sale. Note, however, that we do not accept reference books, travel guides, yearbooks, CDs, or DVDs.

On October 17 we held our first Book Collection event of the season at the Howe Library in Hanover, NH. We collected 1,600 books that we will add to our collection of used books to be offered at the Book Sale at Bookstock 2027 (May 14 to 16th) on the Village Green. Thank you to the wonderful folks at the Howe who helped to make this possible, and to our volunteer team who managed the event and moved 55 boxes of books to our storage facility in Woodstock.

We haven’t scheduled our next Book Collection events yet, so please check back here later. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, contact Julie Moncton at julie@bookstockvt.org.
