Children’s Activities at Bookstock
This year, Bookstock presents a program of activities for children, focused on the Children’s Tent on The Green, presented by The Hagedorn Family.
Open Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, the Children’s Tent will feature face painting, crafts, and story-time readings, along with exciting live presentations. The tent will have volunteers to assist in supervising crafts, temporary tattoos and special presentations, allowing parents to enjoy browsing the book sale and other activities on The Green.
Woodstocker Karli Hagedorn combines her love of community, books and children in this tent, which includes a hand-painted mural backdrop, Karli painted; old-fashioned quilts on hay bales for seating; and a host of other tablescapes for the whole family. On Saturday, the Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences (VINS) will present the Reptile Rendezvous and on Sunday, Billings Farm & Museum will offer Interactive Pollinator storytime.
And our Used Book Sale will feature a children’s section of wonderful pre-loved books at great prices.
