Bookstock hosted author and neuroscientst Lisa Genova, who wrote Still Alice, about a professor with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. She and Melodie Winawer discussed her newly published novel, More or Less Maddy, at a special event in January 2025.

Bookstock 2023 opened with a provocative and amusing conversation between political satirist Andy Borowitz with Vermont Public host Mitch Wertlieb. (This was the opening night event of the 2023 festival.)
