Bookstock 2025 is history! We’re grateful to the fantastic authors and poets who joined us in Woodstock to make our festival a reality.
And we have a lot of people in our community to thank for helping to make Bookstock a success.

The festival features a book arts exhibition at Artistree in Pomfret; workshops by experienced teachers; readings and presentations by best-selling and emerging authors and poets; our well-known book sale; music, exhibitors, and activities on The Green for families and children; and a unique closing event featuring a showing of American Fiction and a discussion of whose voices we the reading public get to experience.
And most events at Bookstock are free — there’s a small charge for our workshops. We do ask you to register for author and poet readings. And we invite you to sign up for our mailing list so you can stay informed about what we plan for Bookstock 2025 — and for future years!
It really does take a village to bring Bookstock to life. Our festival is a collaboration among many people in the Woodstock Community — the time, talents and financial support of scores of volunteers, organizations and businesses make our event possible.
We’re particularly grateful to our sponsors and donors, whose support makes this year’s festival free to everyone.
