During this family-friendly program, Michael J. Caduto presents his latest book—The Garden of Wisdom: Earth Tales from the Middle East—through storytelling, music, and a brief visual feast of photos showing animals, plants, and landscapes of the region.

The book grew from a peaceful, decade-long collaboration of 20 organizations and 50 individuals in Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine—working in partnership to create this unique children’s book of indigenous nature stories about animals, plants, friendship, stewardship, and wisdom.

Michael is a master performer of stories and original music, and an award-winning author of 20 books in natural history, folklore, climate change education, and Earth stewardship, including the bestselling Keepers of the Earth® series (creator/co-author), Earth Tales from Around the World, Catch the Wind—Harness the Sun, Riparia’s River, and Through a Naturalist’s Eyes: Exploring the Nature of New England.
