Robin Gaby Fisher is a Pulitzer Prize winner and two time feature writing finalist and New York Times bestselling author of seven non-fiction books, including After the Fire: A True Story of Friendship and Survival, The Boys of the Dark: A Story of Betrayal and Redemption in the Deep South, and The Woman Who Wasn’t There. Her most recent book, Choosing Hope: Moving Forward from Life’s Darkest Hours, is the story of the teacher who saved her first graders during the Sandy Hook massacre. Fisher is a career journalist who chooses stories about ordinary people living through extraordinary circumstances.
